The unique performance of Varilux Physio is based on a patented technology, the Twin Rx Technology, which is comprised of two innovations:
- A revolutionary method of calculating the optical lens: The light is a wave which is transformed as it passes through a progressive lens. For the first time, Varilux Physio analyses all of the light beam through the lens to eliminate distortion. This involves complex optical calculations: The Wavefront Management System.
- With process for manufacturing precision, digital surfacing and shaping point by point the two sides of the lens with an accuracy of 0.1 micron, Varilux Physio offers the most accurate correction regardless of the correction. This is the Point by Point Twining technique.
