ESSILOR, 25th in FORBES Top 100 Innovative Companies
Forbes Magazine has published the ranking of the world’s 100 most innovative companies. Essilor ranks at the 25th place, behind Apple, Starbucks, or Procter & Gamble, but before Pepsico, L’Oréal or Microsoft.
According to the article, the “big idea” that makes the difference is that
“Essilor’s innovative eyeglass lens production has upended the optics industry”. The magazine also underlines the fact that half of the Group’s annual sales
come from products developed in the last 3 years.
Forbes’ method relies on investors—voting with their wallets—to identify
the companies they expect to be innovative today and in the future.
